Cut from a single piece of ebony and finished with a hand-fitted copper frame, this tea tray sits at the intersection of material rarity and functional restraint. Ebony — one of the densest and most moisture-resistant hardwoods available — requires no lacquer or chemical sealant to serve a tea table for years. The copper frame reinforces the edges while contributing a warm metallic contrast to the deep, close-grained wood.
Available in three lengths (31.7 cm, 32.5 cm, 33.5 cm) and three carved surface expressions: Ripple, Mountain, and Lotus — each rendered as a low-relief motif worked directly into the ebony before the copper frame is fitted. At 15 cm wide and 2 cm in height, the tray sits low and stable, suited to a dedicated tea table or as a statement display surface.
Semi-handmade. Because whole-piece ebony is used, each tray carries its own grain pattern — no two are identical.
